Helen and Matt celebrated their special day with close family and friends at Queen Elizabeth Park. Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate in the gardens with just their parents, the bride looked stunning and the groom was handsome in his custom made kilt.  The brides dress was classic and modern with some cute side pockets; her make-up was done by Tracey – Senior Stylist from Mink Makeup and Hair. A tastefully decorated reception with close family and friends at the Seasons in the Park Restaurant followed our walk through the park. It was a beautiful day, the couple as you can see are cute as a button and I wish them all the best in the many years to come. Here are a few photos from their special day.

Ashleigh & Rob tied the knot at the beginning of July, it was a perfect wedding and perfect Vancouver sunny weather. The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club was a great setting for this navy blue and white DIY wedding.  The bride was amazing and took care of most everything herself from designing the couples monogram, to engaging the whole family in helping with flower arrangements and bouquets.  The ceremony took place on the balcony overlooking the English Bay but did not go on without tears – and no they were not the brides. The groom was so genuine and romantic as he teared up putting the ring on his brides finger – there was not a dry eye in the room where all of their guests celebrated.  The couple enjoyed some time with family and friends post ceremony on the lawns as we took family & friends pictures with everyone that had attended the wedding.  Although the weather was a lot warmer than everyone had expected (especially myself at 32 weeks pregnant!) the portraits were amazing to take. I wish Ashleigh & Rob a life time of love and happiness – and as I ALWAYS tell my couples – I have not shot a wedding in Vancouver that has been rained out! Enjoy these photos from this beautiful wedding.

A Classic Beauty, Alessa & Anthony tie the knot

I love working with Amy of Daydream Weddings, she always has the best weddings to photograph!

It was a beautiful warm and sunny afternoon when Alessa and Anthony tied the knot at a beautiful church in Kits.  Our job was made easy today with the beautiful flowers, awesome shoes, pressed tuxes, killer car and blushing bride & groom.

The portraits were taken at Spanish Banks and the Bayshore hotel in Coal Harbour. We were having some fun with the sun and got some beautiful vintage looking photos that added to the classic day.

Love takes flight

Love took flight on August 13, 2011 when Courtney & Bryce said ” I DO “.

I was fortunate to be a part of this wedding by being second shooter for Amy at Daydream Weddings. We started our day with the gents at the W building taking some breathtaking photos on the roof top and then moving down to the authentic Vancouver back alleys. The ladies were getting ready at the Terminal City Club with Amy having fun being the “Single Ladies”. The ceremony took place at a quaint church on Burard and then we moved to Coal Harbour for some fun bridal party photos. The happy couple were just adorable and the bridal party looked very sharp – the colours of the bridesmaids dresses popped in the sunshine of such a beautiful day. The reception followed at the Terminal City Club – lots of toasts, laughs, and fun was had.
