What is included in the deal?

  • Deal 1:
    • One 45 minute fun on location family portrait session
    • Post-session editing to make your photos ready for proofing
    • Online Gallery with watermarked photos so you can view the photos from the session
    • Select one (1) photo as your 8X10 print (no watermark)
  • Deal 2:
    • One 60 minute fun on location family portrait session
    • Post-session editing to make your photos ready for proofing
    • Online Gallery with watermarked photos so you can view the photos from the session
    • Select up to ten (10) images ready to print on CD. (no watermark)

Additional digital photos may be purchased on CD for $25 per photo.

What type of photography can we redeem our GoLow deal for?

  • Valid for a portrait photo session such as family, children, pets, headshots, couples.
  • Unfortunately the vouchers cannot be used towards weddings or real estate sessions.

How many people can we have in our photo shoot?

  • Your session may include yourself and your immidately family (you, your spouse, and kids – up to 5 people).
  • Want a bigger group? No problem. GoLow Deal sessions – only $25 per additional person.

Is there an expiration date for my deal?

  • Yes. All vouchers will expire on May 8, 2012. Your shoot must be completed by this date or you will forfeit your voucher.
  • No bookings will be accepted for after this date – No Exceptions.

What days are available for bookings?

  • Please see schedule at the top of this page.

What is the cancellation/ rescheduling policy?

  • Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours prior to your session. Plans change it’s not a problem just let me know via phone or email and we’ll reschedule your shoot.
  • Unfortunately vouchers are forfeited in the event of cancellations of less than 24 hours or no-show/missed appointments.

How far in advance should we book our photo shoot?

  • I recommend booking your session as soon as possible so you get the date/time you want.

What should we bring to the shoot? Can we bring props?

  • The only things you need to bring are yourself and your family. If you have small kids it’s great if they’re well-rested, fed & happy (ha ha).
  • You’re welcome to bring props, however please limit them it’s harder to move around the from one area to another dragging props around. If a child has a favourite toy that will help him or her relax, by all means bring it along. If you plan on bringing props please discuss them with me ahead of time.

What should we wear?

  • I always recommend wearing something that you feel comfortable in; everyone has their own unique style – so you can wear whatever you want. When you look at your photographs you want to be sure to recognize yourself! Keeping that in mind please remember that if someone in your family dresses differently than everyone else, they will likely stand out in every photo. If everyone is wearing jeans and someone comes in a ball gown… it may look a little strange!

Can we have our session take place somewhere else?

  • Absolutely! If you’d like to do the photo shoot on a special day or special location I’m happy to accommodate; please book in advance to guarantee a booking.
    Although there are some restrictions due and travel costs. Here is a list of available locations and fees:

    • Burnaby ($50)
    • Port Moody ($50)
    • Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam ($75)
    • Vancouver – Downtown, Kitsilano, False Creek ($100)
    • North Shore ($100)
  • Please note that the location must be approved by the photographer in advance, prior to setting a shoot time. Additional fees due at time of booking to secure date.

What if it rains during our shoot?

  • Rain? The locations that have been chosen are suitable for shooting rain or shine. So, unless you hear from us the morning of your session, consider it on. If you decide that you don’t want to shoot because of the weather please keep in mind the 24 hours cancellation policy (above).

What if we are late for our photo shoot?

  • Because there will most likely be a shoot before and after yours, if you are late, your session time may be reduced so that we stay on schedule. I know it can be hard to get the kids out of the house on time so I will have a little flexibility in my schedule, however I do anticipate a full day so please plan to arrive on time or early!
  • If you have not arrived or contacted me within 15 minutes of our scheduled start time I reserve the right to continue to my next client and your GoLow voucher will be forfeited.

When can we see our photos?

  • Within two weeks following your session, you will be sent an email with a password to view your photos on my online gallery.

Will our friends/ relatives have a chance to see all our photos?

  • Yes! Your proofs will be available online for 30 days and you’re welcome to share your password with family and friends.

How many photos will we get to see in the gallery?

  • You will see between 15 and 35 watermarked images.

How do we order if we would like to purchase additional photos not included with our GoLow Deal?

  • You, your family and friends can purchase additional images within 30 days through the online gallery.

When will our order be ready? How can we get it?

  • Your orders will be available for pick-up at the studio within 3 weeks of your order.
  • You may also have your order shipped to your door for an additional fee of $25.
  • Additional print orders are shipped to you – see details at check out.
